Stacey Hunt, Psy.D.
Stacey is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of ND. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from North Dakota State University. She obtained her Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Doctorate of Psychology degree from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University Seattle. She completed her internship at Montana State University’s college counseling center in Bozeman, MT, and her residency at South Central Human Service Center in Jamestown, ND. Stacey is a licensed psychologist with many years of experience in completing psychological evaluations and seeing clients for therapy. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Stacey has developed expertise in diagnosing ADHD in children and adults.
Her greatest professional joy is correctly diagnosing someone who has been struggling in life for their whole life and giving them the “missing piece of the puzzle.” Stacey does not like talking about ADHD as a “disorder” because it really isn’t. A person with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder lacks enough dopamine in the brain to regulate attention and concentration, but people with ADHD also possess amazing visual-spatial and problem-solving skills. Stacey really enjoys helping people understand themselves better.
